HD Radio is one of the regular radio stations sound better?

I have a Chevy Tahoe 2003, with the radio system of values and the reception has was awful. So I think it's time to upgrade, do not want satellite radio. I just want a better radio reception will get better because I just want listen to my favorite radio stations, not an XM or Sirius satellite station. So is the HD radio to receive a lot of really good regular stations? May that would be useful to know that I live in the Denver area.

Depends on the radio itself, may have gotten a little better or worse. As with any radio market accessories. The HD component does not affect the regular channels – will only give access to more.
